Getting involved in Sustainable House Day has been a longstanding commitment we have made here since 2012 when Goodhouse was launched on Sustainable House Day. Since 2012 we have opened the doors to many of our homes to give people the opportunity to experience the difference of a Goodhouse design for themselves!

GH05 Featured as an Exemplar of Sustainable Home Design.
Homes for Tomorrow is a wonderful initiative of the following Councils: City of Onkaparinga, Mount Barker District Council, Alexandrina Council, and Light Regional Council. It is a program designed to help residents and homebuilders construct or renovate homes that are sustainable, climate-resilient, and cheaper to run.

ASBN Sustainable House Tour - GOODHOUSE 84
Join us for a talk about this beautiful new home, followed by an opportunity to explore it and ask questions.
GH84 is a very efficient 198m2 home + double carport. It has 4 bedrooms, main with ensuite, family bathroom, generous laundry, open plan kitchen, living, dining with a walk-in pantry, a separate living space and a separate study. It has a 22KL rainwater tank plumbed to the house, a 13KW solar system with an 11KW battery, hydronic underfloor heating/cooling. The house is sited on the odd shaped block so as to minimise vehicular circulation on site and maximise usable outdoor living area. It has very good solar access to the living areas and main bedroom.

Sustainable House Day 2024
A wonderful opportunity to visit the lovely GH40 as part of Sustainable House Day 2024. GH40 is quietly tucked into a bush backdrop, overlooking vineyards in McLaren Flat, South Australia.
